The event also celebrated the UK release of Barbara's The Ravenscar Dynasty. April 24, 2003: Worldwide Bestselling Author Barbara Taylor Bradford accepts her induction tonight into the Writers Hall of Fame of America in Springfield Missouri. The award presentation is made Hall of Fame President Robert Stockdale. Since 1979, Bradford has been the world's bestselling women's author. She joins past Hall of Fame inductees, including Ernest Hemingway, Robert Frost, Dr. Suess and Mark Twain. The hall opened in 1994.
